Oumuamua -

1oddday — October 19, 2017 — Haleakala Observatory, Hawaii— Canadian physicist, and astronomer Robert J. Weryk discovered ‘Oumuamua: the first Interstellar object to pass through our solar system. The unknown object was discovered using the Pan-STARRS telescope (a system that constantly surveys the sky for moving or variable objects). ‘Oumuamua is mysterious, in that scientists can’t explain what it is.

Its properties are also a first as its dimensions aren't that of typical asteroids. Its color is also shinier than any other previous asteroid.

Since ‘Oumuamua’s discovery, some scientist have even theorized that ‘Oumuamua may have origins rooted in extra terrestrial intelligence.
